Just last month, I was catching up with a friend of mine, let’s call her Holly, over a much-needed coffee date. As we sat in our favorite, local coffee shop, sipping our lattes, she confided in me about the overwhelming anxiety that was bubbling up inside her. You see, Holly, like many of us, juggles a million things. She's a literal MVP at her job, the most loving and supportive wife, and don’t even get me started at how incredible of a mama she is.
Side Note: She is extremely humble and will most likely be blushing when she reads this (I love you, ‘Holly’ girl!), but truly she’s the “go-to” person in every role she carries.
But with her superhero cape neatly draped over her comfy, cafe chair, she defeatedly shared that the thought of tackling the ever-growing mountain of tasks at home was draining the life out of her. All she wanted was to sink into the sofa, embrace her family, and forget the world. But instead, she found herself grappling with guilt and anxiety, haunted by a never-ending to-do list. And I nodded, understanding the all too well tug-of-war.
After our raw and real mini therapy session, and going our separate ways with a heart-felt hug goodbye, her words lingered in my mind for the rest of the day.
So, I did what I do best – I whipped up a detailed, easy-to-follow calendar that tells her what she could do daily to move the needle in her life without sacrificing her most important currency…TIME. I sent it to her with a simple ’no pressure, no-strings-attached’ text, so she would know my heart had the best intentions. But if she decided she didn’t need it, it wouldn’t hurt my feelings.
Much to my surprise, she almost immediately responded, welcoming my impromptu gift with open arms and a heart full of hope!
And after a month? Holly texted me this,
“I know it sounds silly, but THIS PIECE OF PAPER CHANGED MY LIFE. The themes of the week are genius! It covers so many things in my life I’ve been overlooking. And because I know when certain things are getting done each week, I don’t feel guilty cuddling on the couch with my family now before dinner.”
Which made me think, if it worked for Holly and her family, who else could it help?
So with her blessing (and a promise of an extra-large latte at our next coffee date), I’m bringing this little lifesaver to you — a downloadable calendar, sprinkled with daily tasks to declutter, streamline, and organize your life.

Here's a sneak peek at what the weekly themes look like:
Simplify Sundays:
Prepare for the week ahead. Meal Plan + Meal Prep. Pick out your clothes (or even your little’s clothes) for the upcoming week. Fill up your car with gas, etc. Focus on making your week easier by getting ahead — think of repetitive tasks that you do often.
Maintain Mondays:
Focus on areas in your home and life that need to be maintained, but maybe not managed every day or week.
Target Tuesdays:
Choose a specific spot in your home that screams “help me” and focus on decluttering, cleaning, and reorganizing the space.
Wait-Not Wednesdays:
Stop waiting, start doing. Anything you’ve been delaying, putting off, or waiting til later…do it here.
Technology Thursdays:
Dedicate some time toward decluttering, organizing, and cleaning your technology devices (inside and out).
Feel-good Fridays:
End your work week by doing something that brings a smile to your face or someone else. Fuel your relationships with others and yourself.
Section Saturdays:
Instead of trying to clean your entire house, top to bottom, focus on cleaning a section of your home. Then, tidy-up through the week, as needed.
